Really, it's the perfect summer movie. Carefree, atypical, sassy and full of surprise--what more can you ask for? But after watching the movie, I can't help thinking: am I a Vicky, Cristina or even Maria Elena? All three ladies are fine in their own ways, but I'm just curious. Am I secretly a Cristina who wants to be a Vicky? Or is it the other way round? Maria Elena is a bit too far-fetched, but I can see myself in her too (some very minor parts of her character). Brilliant movie indeed, if viewers like me can relate to all the characters and got confused over which one they lean more towards.
Highly recommended; only for the open-minded, though.
I don't know what I want, but I know what I don't want.
